An update on life

Hi everyone! It's so good to see you here. I am writing my blogs now with dictation! Just look at my set up here, I've got a MacBook Pro, a Bluetooth keyboard that is single-handed and backlit, my adaptive mouse, my assistive bar for my hands to rest on, and my big ass monitor.

The perfect lake day

Secretly for some unknown but awesome turn of events these past months (here’s looking at you COVID and a broken ankle!!) I felt clear headed with only a few manageable symptoms! I didn’t say anything because I knew that would jinx it.

Whoop, here it is.

As I sit here, propped up on a couch, typing into my Notes on my phone with my money thumb (my left thumb that does all the typing), I realized I haven’t given a health rundown in about a year!

How my PCA changed my life

Let’s get down to it, shall we? I first met Megan, my PCA (Patient Care Assistant), about 3 years ago in an elevator with a cute, albeit the tiniest dog I’d ever seen. We happened to both get off at the same floor. “Hi I’m Megan!”, she declared. “I work with your neighbors doing home healthcare and I take their dog out.” I was like, “cool so nice to meet you.” In my head, I thought she is so nice I want to be friends with her! And that’s how everything began.
